Here is DIY capacitor test result, i don't claim what it should or could be, i just give results with given values, and real life test result with real camera so that maybe someone can use this information as future reference.
More cameras will follow as soon as i can make tests.
Here's first.

Camera GT300W
Capacitor 2x2,7v 35F in series= 5,4v 17F
Using DOD firmware camera shuts down in 10 seconds, every time shutdown is success, no corrupted files.
Camera works 24 seconds with capacitor, no matter is it recording or not, display was on in all cases. After normal shutdown there was 4,2 volts in capacitor.
This was first test just out of curiosity, this capacitor was bigger than i thought, 16x36mm, very hard to fit inside camera but can easily use as external.

Btw, i accidentally shorted capacitor wires, cable gets hot and smelly, but no explosion:p

Edit, add GS5000
Tested Samoon GS5000
Idle time with display total 30 seconds.
Recording time with display 18 seconds.
It's ok if you set shutdown delay to zero or 10 seconds.

Nice!
Any capacitor suggestion for DOD LS400W ?

I started randomly with 35F value capacitor, i don't know how many farads is the lowest limit that will work, there was 14 seconds left to spare so capacitors can be smaller.
I think there is problem to get capacitor inside camera, if you are willing to use capacitor pack as external then this value is good.
My GT300W don't have GPS but i don't think it will change results much.

LS400W do not have GPS as well.

After quick lookup it seems that all capacitors with more than 10 farads are 16mm thick, i don't think it's possible to get it inside camera, there is some space but definitely not 16mm.

Let me check, thanks!

There was 10F 10mm, 15F 13mm and 25F 16mm.
Big question is what is the minimum F value to use DOD for 10 seconds +some.
