Do I REALLY Have to Use a BlackVue SD Card?

Everyone connected with BlackVue says we have to use their SD card, and their SD card ONLY. Is that really true? Have any of you used some other type of card? If so, did you have any problems?

Since January I use Samsung Evo U3 128GB without any issue
