We have just completed our detailed FAQ on the DOD F900LHD. This is another camera with many clones. We have also updated the FAQ with the latest firmware v2.67 OTH-MF H.

Hi everyone,

I came across this eBay listing of the F900LHD for $99.

It comes with firmware v2.57 OTH-MF H. The price is cheaper than the other ones I came across. Wondering if it is real or fake?

My guess is that it is fake. It has 2 connectors for the battery when it should have 3 and they highlight this.

The F900LHD in your link is fake. 99% of the time you can identify a fake by its firmware (if the firmware matches the original / real firmware, the camera should be real). However, this is the 1% time that it is not true.

A number of people purchased this camera from the same seller Shenzhen CG Electronics on Aliexpress. They tried upgrading the firmware and that bricked their device. You can see some of the negative feedback on the listing. They also make it clear now that it has 2-pin battery feet (the original has 3).

Overall, if you want the F900LHD, spend a few more bucks from another source.
