wellllll.......that was very entertaining, but what the h___ was it?....first I thought it was a expensively made ad.

As a life long science fiction fan, I love this kind of stuff. I posted it because it was kind of like a whole sci-fi film you can watch in 10 minutes, plus I thought it was well crafted and thought provoking. Dr. Easy is actually a prologue for a planned feature film adaptation based on the novel 'The Red Men' by Matthew De Abaitua.

Its truly stunning the grafix they can make with current game engines, and not forgetting what they do with CGI in movies.

As a long time PC gamer i never really botheres with the Visuals in the games, i allways played in 1600x1200 or 1024x768 with highest possible FPS in the games and HZ on my monitor.
So most of the time the GFX in the games was set to lowest possible settings.

Today i like the Visuals, but you will need to spend a small fortune on GFX Cards to be able to run the games at MAX settings.

I am even ready to trade in my 22" CRT for a nice 1080p "pancake" screen 😀

It's really cool how they layer all the elements and lighting of a scene together and make it seem real.

I thought I was the stick-in-the-mud one here....I hated to give up my Sony 21" crt....I did wait till the LCDs came up to par w/ them in displaying a quality image, but that happen a few years ago. I switched from a 21" & 17" dual crt monitor setup to a 30" LCD .....the best at the time....I kinda need that for the artize-fartize stuff I like to do. Sure has saved me a lot of pain when moving....got a lot of desk space back too.

yeah the LCD monitors havde become truely interesting with the advent of 120Hz panels, hope i can afford to change to LCD soon.
Other things just seem to get in the way all the time.

The benefit of waiting to buy an LCD monitor is that prices have come way down even for the desirable IPS panels which is what you want in computer monitor or TV.
