I have had the 3-channel DR770X Box installed in my SUV for a year or so. I recently bough a new vehicle (in which I installed the 2-channel Thinkware U3000) and, consequently, the old SUV isn't getting the use it used to. It has become my "dog-mobile" and sometimes doesn't get driven for days at a time. So, of course, the BlackVue 130X battery pack will drain and, often, the SUV's battery management will shut off the port into which the camera is plugged. I have noticed, however, that, while the 130X has very low power but has not yet turned off, the "option" camera (i.e. interior camera) will be off while the front and rear cameras remain on. Shortly after charging the battery pack (but not immediately), or after having driven for a while, the option camera will come back on.

Is this a power saving design feature or a lucky consequence of some underlying problem?

I have checked all the wiring and connections and they are good.
