DR970X-2CH LTE PLUS / Pandora music app cuts off n on after installation of the dashcam

I have a 2025 Toyota 4Runner I purchased a Drone XC dashcam because of iOS issues with the app.
I swapped it out for a DR970X-2CH LTE PLUS
And now the camera seems to be working but for some reason while listening to the pandora music app connected via carplay it turns off for a few minutes then back on during songs. Any suggestions?

It may be switching to dashcam WiFi after your phone has already connected to the vehicle's car play.

Try going into phone settings and 'forget' the dashcam's WiFi connection, or set it to NOT auto connect.

If you're using car play, best to only connect to the camera via remote connection in the app, otherwise you're trying to connect to 2 WiFi at the same time which isn't possible.

Recommend setup;
- WiFi to car play
- forget your BlackVue WiFi connection/set to do not auto connect on phone so it doesn't auto/direct connect to dashcam
- only use BlackVue via remote access, not direct when using car play.
- set up the WiFi hotspot connections on your BlackVue, for example; home or office, so when it's parked nearby it uses that connection rather than LTE to save on data usage and speed.
