VIOFO A139, VIOFO A139 Pro, VIOFO A119 Mini 2, VIOFO A229...
  • 1TB VIOFO branded memory card
  • When resuming after parking mode, reads out loud the number of G-Force sensor events there were. Events in first 1 minute of parking mode are ignored (closing car door after parking)
  • Bring back geofencing to save battery if parking in own garage
  • Cloud system. My suggestion:
    • Connects to internet with WiFi using configurable list of connections, so you can add home wifi, wifi hotspot, car wifi hotspot and it will connect to first it can find
    • Connects with MQTT so server can ask for live stream (MQTT is a lightweight publish/subscribe protocol)
    • MQTT events triggering with g-shock in parking mode and driving mode
    • Server can request file to be uploaded
    • Low quality versions of videos are saved by camera alongside high quality, perhaps with shorter segments. This would make them suitable size for sending over internet. These lower quality maybe always 30 second segments.
    • MQTT sends live GPS coordinates so we can track on a map
    • Web site we can log in to view all of this
    • I suspect it wouldn't need new hardware
  • Open source the firmware and someone will probably make the cloud system for you
  • App background download queue
  • Don't block the app's user interface when getting the list of files at the start

Why stop at 1TB?
KIOXIA just released the first 2TB micro sd card.

They had geo-fencing on the original A139, and then removed it with a firmware update.
I think they said it was not reliable.
Can you not press the power button to turn off the camera?

Cloud system.
@Karagandinez : Why ask him to make coffee?
