DVR 027 720p

I have decided on purchasing the DVR 027 720p as my first camera since it is cheap and decent quality. When I checked out estore009 on ebay the price is $95. Isn't it supposed to be $60! What happened here.

For $96 you can buy real DOD F900LHD on Amazon right now that records in 1080p in AVC/H.264 codec. I have real DOD F900LHD mounted on my front windshield, and some cheap 720p DVR cam on my rear windshield. And 720p with MJPEG codec video quality sucks.

The only company that sells real DOD F900LHD on Amazon is called CameraTec. I bought from them several months ago when price was $185. Right now they sell it for $95.99. I think they dropped the price because DOD release new F900LS model that you can see here: http://dod-tec.com/product.php?cat_1st=4&cat_2nd=21

Prices sometimes change but it appears a bit greedy by estore. I'll have to update the main page. Aliexpress is probably the better option to purchase from now.

Hi MozartMan,

That is very cheap for the F900LHD. I am a bit suspicious. I'm sure yours is real but perhaps the new batch are fakes.

Yes, it is indeed cheap for real F900LHD.
I found CameraTec shop on Amazon from this "where to buy" page on http://dod-tec.us/where-to-buy/ website by clicking on Amazon logo link which takes you to CameraTec store front. And before I bought one I emailed CameraTec (via Amazon) asking if they had real one or clone. They replied that it was real.
If it wasn't real I would return it the next day.

Great find. $96 from an authorized seller on Amazon is better than taking a risk from Aliexpress and waiting a long time. I will update the main page with this info.

The amazon deal is dead. I'm sure it was a clear out since they only had a few remaining. Thanks once again MozartMan for the find.
 
Also, it looks like estore009 has dropped the price of the DVR-027 to $60 again if anyone is interested.
