traffic & other lights often seem to flicker, as proven by heaps of youtube videos. This may have something to do with the frequencies the light & the recording, clashing a little bit. A general photographic principle is that, lights will always seem bright against a black background. The Sun & car headlights are much worse. F Y I techmoan has the sample videos with the camera point more UP than is recommended. Around 1/3 should be sky, the other 2/3 below the horizon, to obtain the best allround movies. A CPL will also enhance daytime movies. See elsewhere in this forum for details.
