While EIS 2.0 does seem to work after all (see "it's the camera" thread), there does appear to be a small problem. It doesn't seem to handle sharp, sudden impacts well. Most of the time the windscreen moves but the horizon stays still. But hit something that gives the bike a pop and everything moves. It looks like there's little short-term damping.

Can anyone confirm this?

EIS is better at smoothing out small slow movements and making them look fluid than it is at dealing with sudden sharp movements
Well, yes and no. The problem is that V1.15 seems to be better with this situation. Drop in at about 10:30 to see a "before and after". The surface goes from concrete to Belgian block or cobblestone.

The video above are upscaled to 4K, probably filmed in 1080p

Correct - the video was shot at 1080p@60 fps (um... like it says in the credits). I transcoded it to 4K to keep the video from looking too badly chewed up by YouTube's processing, which compresses videos IMHO unmercifully.

Yeah upscaling are a neat trick, look better for sure than if you let youtubes servers murder your footage.

I'm worried that YouTube will either block 4K transcoding or, more likely, charge for anything above 1080. Grrrr...
