Hi, I have a viofo hk4 box which powers a viofo a119 mini camera. I'm having occasional problems with the electronics on a brand new Citroën C4, such as the windscreen wipers activating by themselves or a sometimes impossible connection with the voice recognition server.
The dealer says that the presence of this equipment is the cause of the problems, but I don't believe it. Does anyone have any experience or information to share with me on this subject?

What's stopping you from disconnecting the HK4 and connecting the Mini to the cigarette lighter to eliminate the HK4 from the list of suspects?
I don't think the HK4 is to blame in your case. Most likely, your dealer is too lazy to look for the real reason for this behavior of your car's electronics.

You only need to remove the BAT+ fuse tap to do the test, although the dealer would want everything removed!

If you have attached the HK4 to the windscreen wiper fuse then I suggest you try a different fuse.

You could also try moving the HK4 box, if it is very close to the wiper wires then it might be putting some interference into them.

If the HK4 is triggering the problem, it is a fault in the car that is the problem, the car should not be that sensitive, but it is possible, and wipers do seem to be problematic when it comes to interference, car manufacturers don't appear to understand electrics very well and do create design problems!
