Emergency lock button not working

Hi. I bought the camera from here. http://www.thedashcamstore.com/a118c-b40c-discreet-full-1080p-single-lens-capacitor-dashcam/.

It says to press the"OK" button while recording to lock the footage. It doesn't work. I have to manually go in after recording to lock it in the playback screen. It also doesn't create a separate folder for it but it says on the screen that it is locked. Do I need to upgrade the firmware? Where do I download it?

It isn't. The screen is on.

In that case I would upgrade to latest VIOFO firmware, at your own risk of course.
