Fail to enter parking mode

Hi. Hoping people can help. I have 2 issues
1. The camera fails to enter parking mode with the setting to ON
2. The camera seems to terminate during multiple times

With the camera OFF the LED is purple stating my connections are correct. (Red cable continuous power, yellow ignition)
Ive swapped SD cards and checked the connection to the rear camera.

Im now out of options so looking for suggestions

Are you sure the two +12 V wires are like that, as i recall the red are often the switched power and the yellow one the constant ( always on ) one

Interesting. I’ll double check but the fact I’m seeing a purple led must mean it’s wired correctly?

So turns out both the yellow and red were connected to the same place providing constant power. This must be the reason it won’t go into parking mode!
