It was in Feb 2024 when I was sent the N4Pro and it has sat in the car since, rarely taken out regardless of weather, hot or cold. The Vantrue has performed exactly as it should throughout this past 15 months impeccable. A couple of wobbles when first installed due to operator error and a misunderstanding when I hardwired it into the car but apart from them I have nothing but good things to say.
Easy of playback and extraction of files are simple, even the driving summary I have found useful (to my surprise).
Updates have always provided that extra level of comfort knowing that aftercare is just as important as sales.
With the purchase of a second docking station we move the N4 Pro between cars now and really don’t drive anywhere without it.
Again Vantrue, thank you for the protection the N4 has given.

I'm agree with all words about Nexus 4 Pro - it works and give a beautiful records from front camera still comparable with currently released new dashcams.

Now waiting for successor with same body and LCD size but upgraded to dual 4K IMX678 sensors + some new sensor for internal IR cam.

@Jeff_Vantrue , please made it with same windshield mount as for new Vantrue E360 - extremely user-friendly solution then mount pad is thin plastic pad only and GPS module can be unmounted separately and easy moves to another car with separated dashcam body. I like it so much. When dash cam is unmounted mounted pad almost invisible compared with previous mounting solutions.

Not sure it will be , if they are moving the S1 Pro Max to be the dual imx678 for this year.... I would have thought the nexus 4 pro would have been the flagship solution, alas not

Thanks for the suggestion! The N series also features a mount design similar to the E360’s

Let's hope that S1 Pro Max is a first ball and next Nexus 4 Pro (Max?) will be successor and flagship again.

Vantrue have a enough ways to do upgrade: S1 Pro Max is 30fps only, WiFI 5Ghz but not WiFi6, does not support external SSD as Viofo dashcams and use a dual-core Novatek processor (not quad-core NT98530 as in Vantrue E360) with less possibilities.

@Jeff_Vantrue , thanks for your answer, will be wait a new dashcam in a N series.

Surprised E360 only supports WiFi 5 when the chipset supports WiFi 6, but definitely potential there for 4k60 and spec upgrades

This is a good solution if the model is firmly installed on such a mount.
My E360 is loose on this plate and it is impossible to make out what it is filming while moving. It will be necessary to move the E360 to a mount with a suction cup.

@Karagandinez , so you have a trouble not with thin pad <-> GPS module connection but with ball adjusting place. It is also can be at any other 2-way adjustable bracket (and suction cup too).

I don't not have such troubles not on E360 not on N4 Pro.

I just installed the E360 on the glass a few days ago and today when checking the recordings I saw shaking.
I went and specifically checked the mount. The problem is in the thin plate on the glass.

I take a pause to recheck it and I do not have such problem on my side. Connection is really solid with "click" at the end of installation moving.
here is a video sample from E360
I don't have a click at the end. Maybe the problem is in my particular copy.
I have a couple of spare plates for fastening, but I have no way to check them. The car is away.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the mount.
Would you like us to send you a replacement? If so, please feel free to reach out to Wendy. We’ll be happy to assist!

Thanks for the offer, but I'll check all the available mounting plates first. If the problem persists, I'll definitely contact you.

I didn't have this problem on my first E360 ACE. The mount was inserted into the plate from above.
Since I had problems with the E360 ACE, Vantrue replaced it for me on the E360.
The E360 mount is inserted into the plate from the side and has a gap, which causes vibration.
I filmed the vibration and sent it to Vantrue and they sent me a new mount that fixed the problem.
