Hey guys and gals
I had massive problems with the FineVu CR500 mount, in fact it was so bad I contacted the distributor and they replaced the mount free of charge. The mount they provided was the same, just much more sturdy and the camera no longer vibrates when I hit a crisp packet on the road.
I haven't been able to test the FineVu during the evenings/night, but the Sony Exmor R CMOS sensor is meant to work very well with bright lights, to compliment this feature I also purchased a CPL lens for the camera which reduces the glare on sunny days and also improves night driving with vehicle head lamps and lens flare.
I will do a video soon, showing the differences with CPL on and off as there sin't much around on YouTube demonstrating this.
The CPL lens looks like this and it literally sticks on because it is magnetic!
