Fitting the E1 pro

I know I may be slow but what is the purpose of the electrostatic sticker?

Am I correct, I dtick the sticker, then the mount to the sticker and then the E1 which will view through the sticker and windscreen?

There is also some grey bonding dots on my windscreen, do I stick the electrostatic sticker on these or only the clear bit of the windscreen?

The electrostatic sticker helps protect the windshield and makes the mount easier to remove later.
The recommended installation is to first attach the mount to the camera, then hold it against the windshield to find the best viewing position. Once the location is confirmed, place the electrostatic sticker on the glass and then attach the mount to the sticker.
For the best adhesion, it’s recommended to apply the sticker on a smooth part of the windshield.
