Flickering time lapse video

Hi guys!

I have some issues with a time lapse vid that I made. It was made from single photos (12M size).

There is a permanent flickering in the video. It can bee seen in the night part, but it also occurs in the first part of the video (maybe it can't be seen on every monitor).

Do you have any idea where it could come from, and how I could avoid this in the future?

Settings were
Shutter speed: auto
EV: 0.0
ISO: auto
Color: normal
Contrast: normal
White balance: auto
Sharpness: normal
Metering: centre
FW: 1.5

Install latest firmware.
Be sure the Frequency is set to 50Hz if you are recording in Germany.

It was set to 50 Hz. Could it be a matter of the FW? I am not the biggest fan of beta versions. Bananas should not ripen at the customer.

I am not considering the GitUp beta firmwares as unstable.
Maybe your flickering is because of some Auto settings like White balance or Exposure, but because you are recording day and night I don't know if is correct to lock them to some values. I am not an expert in video settings.

Exposure settings can not be locked to one single value in such a situation precisely because day and night have totally different light conditions.

Flickering in timelapse is a well known issue and there's comprehensive tutorials out there how to avoid it. But I'm doubtful you will ever achieve excellent results with cameras like these, better to go with a DSLR - you just simply get what you pay for.

I did a timelapse of a sunrise with my a118c dashcam. The exposure levels jumped a few times but like others have said, nothing you can do about it when it's on auto exposure.

Maybe flickering appears because of center metering option selected.
Try to use plugin GB Deflicker for AfterEffects.

If you are looking through a window then maybe it is light from your TV reflecting off the window and it flickers because the TV image keeps changing?

No, sorry, I forgot to mention that the camera was outside on a balcony. And the flickering has a constant frequency, that wouldn't be the case with a running TV. But nice idea anyway.
