why would it not be legit?
The latest "official" version that I've seen mentioned here is 20140826. So I'm just asking for confirmation on this one-of-a-kind version.

version numbers don't always mean there's anything significant that's different in the code, could just be a different boot logo, default settings change etc for a particular customer, the date just gets updated when that is done, Spytec sell the genuine article so there's no reason to think it's anything other than an official version

Just received mine from Foxoffer as well, but the firmware is FW20140918 V1.0
