I have the normal recording G-Sensor all set to 0 (zero) - but the cameras still register an event when I go over a big bump - is there any way to turn them off for normal recording completely? I don't see the point of a g-sensor whilst the camera is already recording. e.g. Cameras recording, hit a bump or someone crashes into me then what happens.... g-sensor registers and it records??? But it is already recording.
 
the G-Sensor is there to look files if triggered so that they don't get overwritten during the normal recycle process

But why are they being triggered if the g-sensor is turned off?

Using 1.009 I am having the same issues with stereo and every bump or uneven road it is all event recording. Would like to disable g sensor in normal mode.
 
Actually I have to retest my unit. It died completely after 2 weeks (no lights or anything) and had to have it replaced with a new unit. Now the gps works as expected. I will let you know.
