G-Sensor settings

1. There's the ability to set the level of G-sensor you need, in 3 directions (Front + Rear/Left + Right/Up + Down), each from 1...5

2. Then there's also the ability to set G-sensor sensitivity for Parking mode Collision detection, also from 1...5, but not per axis.

Anyone know, are these setting completely independent?

@Jeff_Vantrue, do you know how these two settings areas are related? Fore example, is 1. just for triggering locking video when driving and 2. is just for parking mode?
