G1W "open the box"

Bonsoir, I received my G1W two days ago after , from keepingame, on eBay.
Full HD 1080P G1W 2.7" LCD Car DVR Camera Recorder G-sensor Night Vision H.264,
firmware is 2013.1017.
What about battery autonomy?
HDMI mini socket is a bit loose, no problem with USB socket.
PDF attached file is a scan of operation manual, English pages.

Just about battery autonomy, seems short, but I guess it is only for a quick check, then connect to PC.
For everything else, working fine, I have just to find the right place on windscreen.

I use a 32 GB SDHC micro SD card from Medion, classe 6.
What are your usual settings ?
And is there a basic free video editor (basic, as I am) working well with files from G1W?
Surfing there, I found it.

And as said previously here, I can't set the date on DD/MM/YY, no way.

An usefull little tuning...
In pocket, lens was very often dirty.
With a cap , from a milk brick slightly cut on one side and into, fitting just in place, to remove easily turn it a bit. At last, white helps to not forget it on. And cheap, too.
And with blackened metal ring, using a marker (As I saw in another thread, more discreet indeed) , cap prevent ink from erasing too fastly.

Mine also came with the same box and cables.
I like the idea of a bric top. In fact any top will do they are all usually brightly coloured.

Used paper masking tape and coloured that black with a marker
