G1WH - Saving each time it starts up

Can someone tell me why my G1WH camera automatically saves the first recording when it starts up. I have it on loop so when it starts over it stops saving. I want to avoid the saving because it is filling up my sd card with videos.

it's meant to fill the card and then once it's full it will overwrite the oldest video

not really clear on your description, can you clarify?

On startup, it will start recording and the key symbol is on. Meaning it's saving the file. Once the loop starts over after 3 minutes the key will come off.

turn the G-Sensor off and try it again
