It's a generic entry-level dashcam, and like all of these motion detect and G-sensor do not work well and are best turned off if you don't want problems. If you live in a hot climate, you may want a capacitor-powered cam instead, but I'd avoid the G1Wc version of this cam. Several versions of firmware work with the G1Wh and it is a good deal for the money, but QC is a crapshoot, you may need the warranty, and there are fakes out there so buy only from one of the recommended sellers. Take some time to read the forums and view the vids posted using this cam. If you get a good one you'll like it.
