Hi.
I need a dash cam that will meet my expectations.

What I need:
  • WDR - I need HDR/tonal range compression. I don't like overexposed light on night scenes
  • Wide angle - 140 degrees is the minimum. I prefer 170 degree, because I want to record a concerts/gigs with it (with external powersource and tripod).
  • Low Price (<100$)
  • Bright and Low light possibility
I found something like this. In some places they write that it is a Novatek chipset DVR, similiar to G1W/ls300W/GT550W

Comparison g1w/g2w/ls300w :
g2w day test:

What do you recommend - is something better than g2w?
Does anyone here have this dash cam? I'm afraid the low popularity of this DVR and the fact that it may be crappy.

I can't find absolutely nothing about G2W model in the entire forum. Please help me, if you know where I have to look for. The name of subforum: "GXW" from what I understand is for the whole family "GxW" - G1W (and related), G2W, etc..

There are not much info posted about this model and to be honest G1W is worth more to buy from my experience of having both of them. G2W is same as G1W, just having "super-wide" FOV, which makes object too far, so reading numbperplats is much harder.

I prefer 170 degrees angle, because i need a fish-eye cam.
I found something like this, I think it's a branded g2w with Novatek chipset:

Maybe someone know somethin about BLACKVIEW?

If I remember, Blackview vendor or manufacturer could be found from this forum Vendors sub-furum. Check there.
