Garmin 56 front Garmin Mini rear

Hi guys,trying to find information on combining a 56 to the front and a mini to the rear.When using both will the mini register gps from the Garmin 56 through the app,this Utube vid seems to be possible.

If so it would be ideal as the mini with no screen and more discrete would suit a rear set up.

The 56 is nice but buy the Mini with caution- it has had numerous reports of heat-related shutdowns and issues, along with a few other things, and while Garmin knows about that they've made no real effort to resolve those problems The rest of their product line is far better, lacking only supercaps to be at the top of the dashcam game.

My Dashcam Mini has never overheated and it is set up with 2 hour parking mode.
It is the perfect camera for use on the rear window as it is very compact.

Yes, it is possible. The GPS info is added to the mini's footage by the drive app.
Take a look at page 5 of DC 56 manual:
"Multiple Camera Network"
