GARMIN Dashcam 55 stuck on GARMIN Logo

Hi there folks,

My Garmin Dashcam 55 has all of a sudden decided to only display the Garmin start up "splash screen".

The unit doesn't move on - it does not turn off the white Logo with the blue triangle over the N just hangs.

Same thing happens when I connect it to my PC. It just hangs.

I have tried to reboot = same answer.

My PC cannot recognise the unit via Garmin express.

I found a similar post from 2021 and the solution appears to have been that Garmin replaced the unit.

Anyone have any ideas please?

you could try and boot the camera with a new or the same firmware you already have on the memory card. but that would be a way to " reset " the thing.
Not that i think that's the problem, have you checked the memory card ? those little bastards do not last forever, i had a few go legs up on me before i got to fill them just one single time, and that was brand models of course and genuine too.
