In searching around for a 360 degree solution I stumbled onto this. Three wide angle 8MP cmos cameras for a 360 degree view. Available this summer for $399.

Looks very innovative. This would work great on top the roof like the Google Maps Car. It would be interesting to see how it performs in a car.

A very interesting camera with 3x8mp lens. I suppose this camera is more suitable for outdoor sports activities use.

since it is an action cam, i wonder if will it support a car charger.

gopro 1 and 2 dont support it directly. but i think gopro 3 does.

I've been trying to find that out. All it says in the specs (so far), is it comes with "lots of accessories", and mounting options.
