I've noticed that the Git1 is WAY too sensitive to low frequencies. when used as a dashcam, it makes the car sound like i'm driving on rough, severely worn asphalt and not fresh new concrete. very "boomy". in the auto racing videos i recorded, the VERY mild exhaust system on the car completely overdrove the mic - to the point that it caused normal conversation-level voices to sound clipped. in the 2nd video, it even clips a little just from the guitar, and an acoustic guitar isn't really that loud when played this way. it shouldn't make the mic clip.
the mic is my ONLY complaint about the Git1. glad to hear (literally) that the Git2 has solved that problem with its newer/different mic.
