You bought from a reliable source so I wouldn't worry. All members here who have bought from foxoffer are happy with their purchases. The capacitor version is worth it if you live somewhere with high temperatures. Batteries inside dashcams might be a liability when left inside a car baking in the sun, that's why capacitor versions are better for hotter climates.
