My post is for informational purposes only.
My A119 Mini's GPS stopped working.
I ordered a new GPS module from Ali. But the GPS didn't work with this module either. I think the problem is not in the module, but in the dashcam.
Then I met another owner of the A119 Mini. We tested our dashcam with each other and found out that the problem was in both of my GPS modules.
That is, the GPS module from Ali arrived faulty.
After that, I ordered a module from our Russian Viofo Rus. The module arrived working. Now everything works.
All three modules are completely identical.
1. Module from Viofo Rus
2. Module from Ali
3. Module from the box with the A119 Mini
The most annoying thing is that while I was sorting out the problem, the time for opening a dispute had already expired.
But I must say that I bought both my DVRs (A119 Mini and WM1) on Ali. And they both work great for 2 and 1.5 years. Most likely, I was just unlucky.
I concluded for myself that it is better to order such accessories from a local representative. There will be no problems with returning the defective product.
