GPS Mount Accessory?

Why does Viofo offer the GPS Mount as an accessory for the A229Pro when it is already included in the package?

Is there any difference between the mount included in the camera package and the one being sold in the accessory section, if not why are they offering it?

Because they sometimes fail and need replacement. Most everything on the page shown, in some fashion or the other, comes with the factory package, except the Bluetooth remote. There is no difference between the accessory GPS and the factory GPS. The A229 Pro has an enhanced GPS module, other VIOFO modules for other dashcams will not work on the A229 Pro or A229 Plus.

As example 2 cars but one dashcam - GPS mount stick to windshield but dashcam itself can be moves from car to car depend that car do you prefer driving today.
