GPS Question

Bought this for my mom a while ago, and while inspecting the cam yesterday I noticed that every time I start the car I have to enable the GPS in the options menu. Is that the way it should be? As soon as I back out of the menu it forgets that I activated the GPS option.

After selecting ON in the gps settings, make sure you press the "OK" button (! Button).

Yup, I am doing that. It saves all other settings but that one.

try reloading the firmware, make sure you reset default settings once you've done that, and then set your preferences

This may be a dumb question, but do you have the separate GPS module or just the camera only? You need the GPS module to be able to activate GPS.

Done that today, looks like nothing has changed.

Yup, bought the one with the GPS mount.

So I'm assuming this is a defect due to the questions. I'll get a hold of the seller.
