Hi,

I've just received a brand new 0801 Mini from E-Prance. It works great, but:
I've ordered it with GPS tracking, but, according to Demi(E-Prance), received it without.
As far as I read on the forums here, in order to get this capability I only need to replace the camera bracket/mount with a one that supports GPS tracking. I've contacted E-Prance about this but they claim the camera itself does not support it.
What does your experience tell you?

My settings menu shows the three GPS options: G-Sensor precision, G-Sensor Calibration and GPS (open/close).
It also writes a gps folder to the memory card with files with missing data, as shown here http://dashcamtalk.com/forum/threads/no-gps-data.2987/
That's why I find it hard to believe the camera body is the issue.

Then you only need the GPS mount, buy one from @JooVuu if they won't help you

I have a Mini 801 bought as none GPS, my son bought me the GPS mount and I changed firmware to NO Internal card with GPS, but I do not have the GPS symbol on the display??

So not sure that the above statement is true?

I've went to a friend's car and we tested my camera on his GPS mount. The camera should the satellite icon, so at least for my hardware software combination I assume I am only missing the GPS mount.
