Does anyone have any suggestions for loop recording? I was under the impression that 10minutes would repeatedly record over the same 10 min, and that no loop would continually record until full then delete. My camera seems to have no loop as fill up card and stop so I'm wondering what setting I should have it set to.

loop recording will create files at the designated size sequentially until the card is near full and then it will delete the oldest file* to make way for the next, (FIFO, first in, first out)
turning loop off will fill the card without defined segments** until the card fills up and then it will stop recording
* recordings that are saved, either manually or by G-Sensor trigger do not get overwritten during this process
** file size limitations will dictate how large each file will be but generally at less than 4gb it will need to start a new recording, some cams will stop at this point, some will just create another large file, varies by product
