hard reset&password

Shalom everyone!
If I do a hard reset on my device, will the password be reset?
Or are some other manipulations needed???

as far as i know - yes. even when you upgrade the firmware, the password (and all settings) are being reset

EDIT: i might be wrong, the manual doesn't specify how to password reset. Viofo support website states it's only possible to reset password with a firmware upgrade - but there's no specific info for VS1

Hard reset is just a power cycle (pressing the small button on the side of the camera with a pin/paperclip), so the password will not be reset. If you manually default the cameras settings, that should reset the password. Updating/reinstalling the firmware will default the settings as well.
