Hard wiring A229 very basic question

I'm thinking of having an A229 fitted. There seem to be 2 options for hard wiring, a fuse tap and an HK4 kit. There is no clear explanation of which parts are required.
Reading between the lines I think the fuse tap is the minimum requirement, but with just a fuse tap you don't get parking mode.
Although the HK4 is described as a hard wiring kit it does not contain all the parts required to hard wire the dash cam and a fuse tap must also be bought.
Is that correct? Am I missing anything?

HK4 requires fuse taps. It's only 1 option.

You connect the HK4 to the fuse box via the fuse taps.

And the reason the fuse taps are sold separately is that different cars have different fuse types, you need a fuse tap that matches your car.
