Hardwiring via OBD?

Thanks for the ad, has anyone had experience with this type of hardwiring for the Thikware line?

Such a module can be used to turn on dash when starting the engine - this device has a function of supplying phantom power to the devices connected to it.
But there are too many connectors in the photo, probably in your example the device is used for diagnostics.
The simplest PAC IGN-3 Latching Phantom Ignition Module connection diagram - plus is modulated on the blue wire when the engine starts (when the voltage rises to about 13.0 Volts).

@Leonauto Do you have any experience with this companies products? Are they good?

It is an interesting device for CANBUS and I see they also offer a similar device for "Stop/Start" cars. This could solve a lot of people's hardwiring problems :)

no experience with the product listed but PAC have been around for what seems like forever, they're experts at interface modules etc
That was what I wanted to know; it seems they can be recommended safely :cool:

I like the power connection through the OBD II connector, this is the simplest connection if you do not want to be dependent on the cigarette lighter socket (these socket turn on power differently in different brands and model).
