Having trouble setting up parking mode

I've never used the parking mode feature on my previous car but just bought a new one and decided to try it. I bought the HK3 and I had the dealer wire it into the fuse box. I've noticed that the red lights never turn off. I've formatted the card in the camera. I've set the parking mode to auto detect. After being parked for a long time like overnight or while shopping I return to car and hear the camera beeping and light flashing.

I'm feeling that something is wrong but i cannot figure it out. I've even tried unplugging the constant power and run on ACC only but the camera doesn't turn on with ignition that way. Any suggestions please

What memory card are your using? Brand and model card?

Update. A week later harness totally stopped working and camera wouldn’t turn on at all. Defective wiring harness. Ran original usb cord to lighter socket and camera works fine.
