Heat Sinks

HI ...first post....Have the heat sinks on the Mobius been of any benefit ? My 2 Mobius cameras are the best cameras i use for dash cams & want to see them last & last . In the Sydney heat i mount them back from the sun on the head rest posts. Until i get a dedicated dash cam would the heat sink with super capacitor fitted be worthwhile.

If using in the car you're better off putting the capacitor set in to replace the battery

I've got a Mobius that is mounted in the windscreen (on the rear view mirror arm) and is always exposed - with the car parked outside 24/7. It's lasted for a couple of years now through Adelaide summers. I fitted heatsinks (pics will be on here in older threads) but they "fell off" about three months ago and I haven't bothered replacing them. It has got the capacitor mod done, only because I had the battery die in another Mobius (ironically fitted in a vehicle that is always garaged but not driven regularly) so I pinched the battery out of the exposed Mobius and fitted the capacitor mod as it's the "daily driver".
