@Tech68 Greetings hello my lover what ave e for casse croute today...........for the uninitiated ( hello my lover )is or was a typical cornish greeting hello my Andsome is another cornish greeting. casse croute is your meal break normally a lunch box, actually we use the same words casse croute here in france. I lived near the Joppa treacle mines for a number of years ........Ipol😀 Treacle mines were quite common in cornwall around hayle .......trust me......😉

@Ipol...great info .😀....I have looked for the treacle mines in the past, ...been down a few but never found any treacle- I reacon the Piskies ate it all !!
I had a` Philps` pasty for me crib...( thats mid cornwall dialect for lunch )...and it was bloody ansum !!
