Hey gang,
I just found this forum thanks to a post by Pier 28 on the Goldwing.Docs forum.
I'm primarily interested in a camera to take video from my motorcycles.
I currently use a Crocolis HD Extreme Cam from Chinavision.
I've been very happy with this camera for the most part. It has really taken a beating
over the last few years and still works fine. I would have thought that the high
frequency vibration from my Honda Trail 90 would have destroyed the electronics
in the thing, but nope, it still works fine. The negative is the
weight, over half a pound. That's a bit much to mount on the end of a mounting
arm hanging off of a motorcycle. Too much bouncing around.
I'm now looking at buying a Biker Mate camera which has the lens separate
from the recorder, a much better idea in my opinion.
