HELP

I just received DR32 today; i charged battery and all i get is a blank screen. micro-sd card inserted. suggestions? i realize i can send back, but it is a PITA

Have you plugged it in to the car? Battery is for safe shutdown only.

Any help?

Yes it needs to be constantly plugged into power to work as Jazzist suggests, its internal battery will not power it (only for shutdown/saving settings)

thanks for the replys. yes i have plugged into the car; i get a screen, but no menu

have you tried pressing buttons (I'm sure you have), in desperation you could try installing firmware update

can i do a firmware upgrade eventhough i do not get a menu screen?
