Yeah started selling yesterday.
But i already have a working action camera,,,,, well actually i have 4

Still going to chack in on them now and then to see how it goes.

It's the IMX677 and in the firmware the highest I see referenced is 1080p @ 240fps.

Is anyone planning on upgrading?

I have a pair of 9’s that I use regularly at 5K30. Bumping to 5.3K would be nice for extra cropping room, but the reduced battery life is kind of a dealbreaker.

I wonder if they now offer 5.3K looping. The 9 could only do 4K looping for a pseudo-dashcam experience.

If I had a 9 I would not upgrade (unless needing 60 fps at max res or superslowmo at lower res).
Earlier reviews show a bit overheating at different resolution with a static camera.

GoPro HERO 10 Teardown

A teardown of the GoPro HERO10 codenamed Kong including what changed in hardware from the HERO9. The ARMV8 64bit GP2 Processor also known as a Socionext M20V is the only major change. The whole codebase was upgraded to a 64bit codebase so be weary of buying this right out of the gates.
