Has anyone tried using polymorph plastic to make their own brackets?
Melt the pellets in 62deg water, form into shape & allow to cool (or quicker in cold water).
Can be drilled - and even re-used.

I'm thinking, maybe cover the cam with a piece of clingfilm to protect it whilst moulding a holder?
The stuff turns white when hard but a colouring can be added. maybe mould to the correct angle whilst still warm then hold on screen using 3m pad?

It's also available 42°C melting point.
I was thinking about 62°C, but as I understand, when desired shape / mould / product is made, then later you can re-melt it again in 62 degree, right ?
I didn't understood, - is this re-melting process ( later on ) should be done in the water, or it's enough of any surrounding environment of 62°C to melt it.
In this case if using for dash-cam parts ( case, bracket ,etc. ), then it's a risk in hot weather when leaving it in car for direct sung light.

Yeah, I noticed the 42°C stuff but felt the 62°C might be better for the higher melting point bearing in mind what you said about internal temps in the summer.

Should be ok for UK summers?
