How to pick real DOD TG300?

Well, I've been looking for dash cam for some time and the only one that impressed me with video quality and form factor is DOD TG300.

The cheapest I've seen on this side of pond is around 220... There few on AliExpress in 150-160s.
Is it the same camera or like in case of GS1000 just very similar looking?

They do a generic version as well that they market under another name, it is a patented design but that doesn't mean a lot as you could still see something similar looking without knowing
