Innovv was having a fantastic sale this month, and I couldn't resist. Ordered a K7 system to upgrade from the K2 I've been using for years.

The 2k resolution and external mic (now actually useful, vs. recording under-seat sounds) sold me.

One oddity: the shipment showed as an incoming Amazon item. Which was strange, because I purchased through the Innovv website, not Amazon. Anyway, I got it within a week of my order. I'm glad Innovv now has stock in the US, vs. shipping directly from China.

As with my original K2, the K7 system came beautifully packaged.

Did a quick "bench" test (system assembled on table top vs. on-bike) to verify function. So far so good.

We need a section for the K7, as we already have for the other models in this forum.

The K7 can accept up to a 512 GB microSD card. I think I'll stick with 256 GB though - still the best price per GB, in the SanDisk High Endurance cards I like to use.

Any questions? Pics as soon as I get around to it.

Installed on my FJR-1300. Collecting video for a proper review. Still need some video from after dark.

Have some install pics I need to post.

Got some video from around and a bit after sunset.

Initial impression: The K7 does a notably better job after dark than the K2.

Clearer in daytime too. Screenshots eventually, I promise!

I liked the K7 well enough on my FJR that I also installed one on my Vstrom to replace the existing K2.

Would like to tinker with K7 firmware, to dial up the bitrate for increased image quality. This was done with the K2 firmware to great success. Not sure how to go about it though.
