IOS app freezing

I just got a b1w, upgraded the firmware and using latest ios app 1.7.9

everytime I use the app and either stop the recording or a setting, the app freezes for a couple minutes and crashes out
the iphone 6 is also unuseable during this time.

any suggestions ?

It happens if a slow speed card!
What memory card you use for this camera? Suggest that you test card with tool T2testw.
