I plan on buying two dash cameras and set it up to use one of it as a rear cam while the other as a front facing camera.

I saw a hardwire kit making use of 12V but outputting only 5V. My cars manual says "Do not exceed 140 watts at 12 volts".

If 2 hardwire kits are each requiring input of 12 volts, wouldn't that be 24 volts? Or would it be 10 volts? Is it possible to hardwire 2 different dashcams in the same car without damaging car battery?

Sorry for my lack of knowledge and bad english.

You can wire as many as you want, just make sure you wire them in paralel, don't chain them. But I would look at the Thinkware F770 dual camera setup
