Is my G1W genuine?

Hey guys, I recently picked up a G1W from this eBay listing here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/291026642255.

Someone in another thread said this seller is selling genuine G1W's, but I just want to confirm.

It records in 1080p@30 frames, saves the files in MOV format, came with an HDMI cable, and its firmware version is: 2014:0108.

Only thing that threw me off was the box, I've never seen one like that before(see link above).

looks like a real one, can't say genuine because there are multiple versions of this model anyway but it does like like a regular G1W variant

From what you say things sound okay, but going over the actual listing raised a few flags to me at first. I guess this is eStore009 under another account name of dreamlover2013?

They mention a new account, but I just skimmed it. They use all of eStore009s branded images.

Also this listing is 58 dollars when eStore009 listing is still up at 54 dollars. If this really is eStore009 selling the G1W under a new account I would maybe advise anyone on the G1W fence to grab one now to save a few dollars.

This also shipped from LA. I bought the camera Sunday night, it was on my doorstep Wenesday afternoon.

Actually, now that I think about it, the sellers Paypal name is "blueskysea2013, so I think this might be "BIAKLOV" from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/B00FONBG1A.

The price is a little more, but the one from the eBay listing I posted above actually ships from the US, so shipping is super fast. Like I said above, it took 2 days for me to get.

Okay, I did a thorough break down today as I painted my silver ring, and can confim this unit does have the 96550 chip. http://i.imgur.com/8gtfguV.jpg

So this seller is selling legit G1W if anyone is on the fence.
