Is the method on the video correct?

I ordered a dashcam from DDPAI which included the hardwire KIT, however, the HW kit came with a mini fuse tap which is incompatible with my car (Micro 2).

The fuse tap is a bit different to what I have seen before, this one has a sort of connector which you can unscrew and there`s a glass fuse that sits in the middle of it.

What do you guys think about the hack that DDPAI is mentioning below

The Hardwire Kit we sell can be adapted to most models on the market. If you encounter a special situation where the fuse specifications are not suitable, you can choose to install it by breaking the wire. Please follow the instructions. This installation method is very safe and there are no installation hazards. If necessary, you can seek help from a professional auto shop.
